My name is Dor, 34 years old, Dr. Eyal Barbelak just saved my life. There is no other way to describe it.
I had a complete erosion of the disc at the level of L5-S1. The vertebrae sat on top of each other and ground the nerves. It was excruciating pain. For a whole year I lived on the floor, I got to the point where I had no choice but to undergo surgery.
After many doctors who did not feel accurate to me, I met Dr. Eyal Barbelak. Dr. Barbelak offered me surgery with an anterior approach, using the ALIF method. Which almost no other doctor suggested to me - because few know how to do it.
With a small incision, through the abdomen, Dr. Barbelak inserted an implant between the vertebrae that fixed them together, returning them to their original angle.
Two days after the operation I left the hospital, on my feet, without pain! No pain! (Apart from the incision in the front of the abdomen which healed very quickly, similar to a caesarean section. Really small. Nonsense).
I just can't believe I'm writing this - without pain! I returned to full function, life returned to me. Confirmed.
I have only good words to say about Dr. Barbelak. A professional above your level. Does not compromise on professionalism. A pleasant, sensitive, patient, modest and nice person, who speaks and explains at eye level.
