When the time came, I had major surgery with him that included removal of a kidney and colon. The surgery went without complications, and about five days later I was already back home. But when I think about that period, I remember not only the surgery. I remember how much Dr. Bracha cared for me, even in the small things. To him, I wasn't just a person with a tumor that needed to be removed. I felt I had someone to rely on even during the waiting period, not just in the operating room.
Before I came to him, I checked throughout the whole country and searched for an oncological surgeon with experience in retroperitoneal sarcoma surgeries. After what I went through with him, in my opinion Dr. Manny Bracha is a world-class sarcoma surgeon.
