The doctor was supposed to perform a hernia surgery in the left groin and during the surgery after examining the right groin as well, he decided and treated a hernia there too, (something that was not expected in the preliminary examinations).
After the surgery the doctor explained clearly and patiently what process would be required for continued recovery.
