I am a veteran physician in the field of Ayurveda (35 years - the first in the country) and I do not usually "prepare" for a first meeting with a patient, except in particularly difficult cases, in which case I sometimes ask for medical documents in advance in order to get a sense of the case. With all due respect, when the main complaint is irritable bowel syndrome, something I treat a great deal, I do not prepare in advance for the meeting. I checked and found a long thread of WhatsApp correspondence with you, in which I answered many questions, including responding to pictures of various foods you sent, and also gave you guidance to specific food stores. In the second meeting, I added to and expanded on the diet - oatmeal in the morning, guidance on cooking and herbs, refinement and precision regarding the various meals, guidance on the proper use of nuts, and more. I am sorry if you were disappointed that I did not respond to you during the week I was abroad. I am known for being available to patients at all times, and I encourage them to consult with me between meetings as much as they wish. But is a physician - however holistic and accessible - not allowed to be absent for a week?
