''I am a 65 year old sufferer of Familial Hemiplegic Migraines. Dr. Carlin is a Pediatric Neurologist, but she kindly agreed to meet with me as she's a specialist in this very rare (1 in 33,000 people worldwide) type of migraine. She asked a huge number of questions in order to arrive at a thorough history, and then listened attentively to all of MY questions. She then helped me develop a plan in order to gradually reduce the amount of migraine prevention medication I take (which is causing bone density loss) and replace it with more mineral supplementation and other lifestyle changes. She did all of this with tremendous patience and caring. When my husband and I left her office, we turned to each other and said at the same time, "That's the BEST doctor, of any kind, I've ever met!" Thank you, Dr. Carlin
