Throughout the entire process I felt I was in good hands. Dr. Elena devoted time to me, listened patiently, showed genuine concern, and made sure I received the treatment appropriate for me. Beyond her great professionalism, her personal and human approach gave me a sense of security and calm during a period that was not easy for me.
Later on, she referred me for injections under fluoroscopy at Assuta. When I encountered difficulty obtaining Form 17 ahead of the treatment, Dr. Elena did not ignore the problem and did not leave me to deal with it alone. She acted quickly, responsibly and decisively, made sure our request was handled properly, and helped us get the approval in time, so that the treatment at Assuta could be carried out on the previously scheduled date.
It was especially important to me to see that this was not just a doctor who gives a referral and moves on, but a person who truly cares about the patient and the journey they are going through. Dr. Elena was available, responsible and involved, and that is certainly not something to be taken for granted.
The staff at Assuta also provided us with excellent, professional and courteous service, and the entire treatment was conducted smoothly and in an organized manner.
