Sometimes it frustrates me that I have to pursue obtaining Ozempic.
Beyond that, I struggle with the fact that the financial increases are so high and that insurance (even private insurance) does not reimburse most of the costs, including medications. In my opinion, it's a crime that on one hand, the healthcare system defines me as having a severe illness, and on the other hand, doesn't cover me! Infuriating!
I want to especially commend Bar, the dietitian with whom I worked regularly and continuously for about half a year until recently. I really connected with her inclusive and educational approach!! I thought I had nothing left to learn from dietitians given my extensive (not particularly successful) experience with them over the years, but Bar proved me wrong! Her positive approach was personally tailored to me and she knew how to show flexibility and acceptance towards me even in challenging situations while providing coping strategies that I managed to implement and that truly helped. All this in accordance with the reality of life itself.
I haven't been particularly successful with "diets" in the past - I'm happy with Dr. Raz's program because I don't feel like I'm on a diet, and I have no doubt that this contributes to my satisfaction no less than the weight loss itself.
Due to Bar's especially supportive guidance, I feel that I will be able to continue implementing what I learned from her even though she is no longer guiding me, which is the current situation.
I hope that I will continue to lose weight and that I will be able to continue implementing the program's approach - that's why I renewed it for another six months.
